I've recently come across a cookbook from the 1970s called "Gelatine: Home Cooking Secrets." It's very...colourful, and I think it looks promising! So many gelatine secrets Dev, so many.

I'd like to know your favourite foods (I already have a suspicion that I do), but you can't ask me why or what for. Don't tell me you're alarmed by this request either.

I'm always impressed with how the human body heals, with or without the aid of magic. It's nothing short of amazing, and I wish that people didn't take their health for granted as much as they do. Though I suppose if they did then I'd be out of a job and a bit useless.

Simon's 36th birthday is this Tuesday and a few of us think that it'd be a great idea to have a surprise party of some sort. Unfortunately he and I are working nights for most of the week, but we're not on Friday so it seems like a pretty good bet for me. He won't think anything of it.

I don't think I really take the time to let my friends and family know how much I love them. I wish that hugs were more socially acceptable, I think that's the most comforting and sincerest form of expression. Consider this fair warning for the next time I see any of you, you will be hugged.

I know that everyone is pretty divided on the subject of Valentine's Day, but I for one think that a holiday celebrating love is needed now more than ever...even if the amount of pink is bordering on offensive. I'm going to host a Valentine's Day party at my cottage on the 14th at 9pm, and I'd love it if you could all make it. Bring friends, significant others, blind dates, or just yourselves. There will be absolutely no judgement passed on you about your love lives or lack thereof, because then I would be a hypocrite.

I'm not sure if you have far more romantic plans, but I can promise food and alcohol, so I hope that you'll at least stop by.

Well, at least these sensitivity training sessions are producing some underlying positive messages. I think that the chosen execution of that message may need to be seriously revisited in terms of it's blatant insensitivity.
